Lynn Fulhart Hatfield and Mindy Kemper presented to the Exchange Club of Muncie at the weekly meeting on April 4. They are the founders and driving forces behind the Delaware County Special Needs Prom/Events. These mothers of special needs children told the story of how this not-for-profit organization got started and how it continues to flourish today. It was a wonderful story of how these busy mothers found a way to improve the lives not only of their own children but also the lives of other special needs people and families in Delaware County and beyond.
Prizes were presented to some of the winning teams from the recently completed Charity Golf Tournament. With the proceeds from the tournament plus a donation from the Exchange Club of Muncie, a check for $1500 was presented to the Isaiah 117 House of Delaware County. The tournament was an enjoyable experience for those who participated, and the Exchange Club was able to help support a not-for-profit organization in our community making a difference for some less fortunate youth in Delaware County.
