Akilah Nosakhera was the invited guest speaker for the May 15 meeting of the Exchange Club of Muncie. Ms. Nosakhera spoke about her founding of the ArtRize Community Center to serve Seniors and economical challenged families in the local area.  The Center not only serves as a meeting place for all but also highlights the legacy of the contribution to the arts of African Americans of Muncie and of the USA.  She also uses it to teach youths the seven principals of Nguzo Saba – Unity, Self Determination, Responsibility, Cooperative Economics, Pupose, Creativity and Faith.
