Dr. Kelsie Tomlin, Au.D. and Dr. Emily Kiser, Au.D., CCC-A were the guest speakers at the July 24th meeting. They spoke about the many facets of hearing care and the implications of hearing loss. All of us as we age develop some hearing loss if we live long enough. The Doctors of Audiology spoke about the other health conditions associated with hearing loss including loss of socialization and dementia. They encouraged the members to have yearly hearing tests to address the loss as early as possible.
