The May 2nd meeting of the Exchange Club of Muncie was enlivened by the presence of 30 sophomores from Muncie. Each year the Exchange Club happily recognizes the academic achievements of 20 sophomores from Muncie Central High School and 10 from the Burris Laboratory School. This annual event is always anticipated by the membership not only for acknowledging these exceptional students but also to share a meal plus some time together exchanging thoughts and experiences. The guest speaker was Paloma Belen Sutter from the Admissions Office at Ball State University who gave an excellent presentation on what to expect for application to BSU and opportunities afforded by attending college right here in their hometown.
