The Exchange Club of Muncie teamed up with the Muncie/Anderson branch of Teenworks on June 25th to help clean-up portions of the Cardinal Greenways. The combined efforts of the 2 groups helped to beautify the Depot, McCulloch Trailhead plus portions of the White River and Cardinal Greenway trails. Afterwards the groups shared a meal at the Depot hosted by the Exchange Club and the Cardinal Greenways. Angie Pool, CEO Cardinal Greenways, and Alicia, Teenworks Coordinator, spoke about their respective organizations. Teenworks is a 501(c) not-for-profit whose mission statement is: ‘To empower teens to achieve excellence in community, college and career.’ The intergenerational shared meal was informative and enjoyed by all.
