Yeno M Matuka Pierre Presents at The Exchange Club of Muncie

The guest speaker at the weekly meeting on June 27th was Exchange Club member Yeno M Matuka Pierre. Better known as Matuka, he spoke about his upbringing in Africa, his educational journey including its triumphs and struggles, plus the reasons for his multiple names. It was a fascinating tale of perseverance, motherly love, the value of education, the benefit of a spirit of hope plus a trust in God. Thanks were expressed to Matuka by outgoing president, Tim Williams. Those present gained a greater appreciation for the amazing life of one of our members. It also demonstrated the unique insight our varied life experiences bring to the richness of the Exchange Club of Muncie.
