On Nov. 4th the Exchange Club of Muncie hosted the 2023 Region 7 Educational Summit. Officers from Exchange Clubs in MI, OH, WV and IN were in attendance. The featured speaker was a fellow Exchange Club member, Richard Wistocki. Mr. Wistocki is a retired police detective from the Chicago area who has developed an educational course on strategies to identify and prevent school shootings for school administrators and police. He shared his insight and knowledge with those in attendance. In addition, featured guest speakers included Kristen Hoffman, Esquire and the Honorable Judge Kimberly Dowling who spoke on Trafficking in Muncie and in Indiana. The speakers stimulated very thoughtful discussion and presented valuable information for those in attendance to take back to their Exchange Clubs for the benefit of their communities.
